{The initial design was a prototype for a light military vehicle in the style of the American Jeep, but its small wheels and low ground clearance made it impractical as an off-road vehicle. New for this summer we are making our famous Mini Moke ”TOGS” available for our guests. A fantastic way to get around and see the island - grab your beach bag from the room and head off, stop at the vineyards for lunch and a glass of wine or book a Boatshed picnic for the day out, explore the beaches and local galleries.

An adventure in itself TOGS will put a smile on your face, and a memory that will be enjoyed long after your stay.

TOGS is fitted with a great sound system for those summer tunes, whether it’s a little soft jazz, or your favourite classic summer anthem (The stereo is iPod compatible).

Rental is based on a calendar day so will be available for you from 8am through until midnight.

TOGS is costed at NZ$150 a day. This is a one off charge, with unlimited miles, petrol and insurance.

To avoid disappointment TOGS should be pre-booked. You can book TOGS when making a reservation, just let us know which days you would like to reserve.
