Location Waiheke is located in the Hauraki gulf – New Zealand’s Nautical playground. The island is a 35minute ferry crossing from the heart of Auckland, The Boatshed is five minutes from the terminal on the sunny northern face above Little Oneroa Beach. A short stroll will have you in Oneroa, Waiheke’s eclectic village with cafes, art galleries, souvenir and gift shops – you will also find the tourist information centre in the village and places to hire bikes, scooters and cars. The Beach is a 3 minute walk down from The Boatshed, beautiful swimming and beach walks on this long white sandy beach. Stunning coastal walks for corner of the beach will lead you to other hidden bays and coves. |
